1. Encourage Outdoor Play

Playing outdoors is great for a child’s physical and eye health. Studies have shown that exposure to natural light reduces the risk of developing nearsightedness (myopia).

2. Limit Screen Time

Prolonged use of phones, tablets, or computers can lead to digital eye strain. Follow the 20-20-20 rule: Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

3. Maintain a Healthy Diet

A diet rich in vitamins A, C, and E, and omega-3 fatty acids supports good vision. Include carrots, leafy greens, citrus fruits, and fish in your child’s meals.

4. Ensure Proper Lighting
